Our “Queen for a Day” program specifically aims to spay large dogs in the Tri-County area.
The Need to Spay Big Dogs
According to the American Kennel Club, big dogs tend to have larger litters. This means more puppies needing homes and resources. It’s nothing new, right? However, what you may not know is that the cost to spay a large female dog is higher than for smaller dogs. This is where the Martha Decker Fund steps in to help.
Our Commitment to Spaying Dogs
For years, the Martha Decker Memorial Fund for Animals has been dedicated to spaying dogs in the Tri-County area. We understand the importance of controlling the pet population and ensuring the well-being of our furry friends. To achieve this, we offer vouchers to dog owners, helping them cover the cost of spaying their pets.
Introducing Queen for a Day
One of our current programs, Queen for a Day, focuses specifically on the Large Ladies of the Dog Breeds in Izard, Fulton, and Sharp Counties. We want to shine a spotlight on these big beauties and help them live healthier lives. With Queen for a Day, we provide vouchers worth $100 to contribute towards the cost of spaying any dog over 70 pounds in the Tri-County area.
Do You Have a Large Dog in Need?
If you have a lovable companion weighing over 70 pounds who needs to be spayed, we are here to assist you. Whether you own a Great Dane, a Saint Bernard, or any other big breed, our Queen for a Day program can help cover some of the expenses. Spaying your dog not only prevents unwanted litters but also promotes better health and reduces the risk of certain diseases.
How to Participate
Participating in the Queen for a Day program is simple. Reach out to us through our website or message us through Facebook. We will guide you through the process of obtaining a voucher. Once you have the voucher, you can visit a participating veterinary clinic in the Tri-County area and use it towards the cost of spaying your large dog.
At the Martha Decker Memorial Fund for Animals, we believe in making a positive impact on the lives of animals in Izard, Fulton, and Sharp Counties.
