An “Unchain Your Dog” Story

We’ve all seen dogs like Sheba. Living on a five-foot chain, little ability to move, “Sheba had food and water but she was alone and never had love and she was neglected as far as having good warm shelter. She wasn’t starving for food, but for human interaction and love. She didn’t have a warm place to get when it was cold”. These are the words of Kind Lady who says Sheba “Now thinks she’s a five pound lap dog. If I’m sitting in my recliner she thinks she’s supposed to be in my lap.”

Acting on the feelings of a real desire to help, Kind Lady did something about Sheba, the Wannabe Lap Dog! Sheba now lives with Kind Lady and they are True Friends. “I have totally fallen so in love with her. I can’t imagine life without her now. I think she’s beautiful, both inside and out.”
We think both Sheba and Kind Lady are Beautiful, Inside and Out.

The Martha Decker Fund is grateful to play a part in Sheba’s new life by sponsoring her spay.
